L’Atelier du Dahu is a special place in Nantes, France. So, we made a special video collaboration between Spruce Up Europe & VLIPP to film the Second edition of the festival « A Dada sur Mon Dahu » in June, 2016.

This video tells the story of an abandoned or uninhabited house in Europe that has been rehabilitated by youngsters to create their own projects. To know more about the project, you can read this article: https://spruceupeurope.com/2016/09/07/latelier-du-dahu-an-imaginary-world-in-nantes/

Spruce Up Europe is a project initiated by Marine Leduc, a journalist, and Ana Perfeito, a videomaker. The project aims at making people aware about this issue and to show that the space of old houses can be use for youth and social projects that integrate the community.

Réalisation: Marine Leduc, Léo Cointet and Simon Chartier
Motion Design: João Filipe Santos

Many thanks to: Valentine Chevalier & Marianne Gaudillère (VLIPP)
